Do you think a jury should be over-ruled by a judge?
In any legal proceedings where the judge determine a case with a jury, the duty of the jury is consider the issues of facts while that of the judge is to direct the jury on the elements of the crime or the claim. The jury is therefore the Trier of fact while the judge is the Trier of the law. It is a cardinal rule of law that the facts as determine by the jury must not be interfered with. But in limited circumstances, the judge can overrule the jury. This limited circumstance includes the following. 1. When the jury considered irrelevant facts to come to their verdict. 2. When the jury fails to consider relevant facts when they should have consider before coming to the right decision. 3. When it is found out that some members of the jury have personal interest in the outcome of the case. 4. When the jury is bias. 5. When the jury determine the case of purely on sentiments and emotions rather than considering the raw facts as they are.

Key Issues I will Talk About As a Presidential Candidate
The keys issues that will face candidates are A. Unemployment: high national unemployment rate & dwindling family incomes is making life/survival difficult for the average American who have to pay utilities, feed, pay mortgage etc. B. National Health Care: high medical cost is making life so uncomfortable for average Americans who can't not only afford medical costs or health insurance premiums but trust insurance companies with their life in the event of an illness. C. Regulation of the financial sector(Banks & Wall Street): the absence of strict financial regulatory laws and policies was the cause of the recession and other fraudulent financial schemes with its corresponding negative effects on family incomes, savings, and retirement benefits and livelihoods .D. The War in Afghanistan: Is another huge burden America has to deal with in terms of financing resource acquisition for troops and supporting Afghans to deal with the threats of the Taliban’s/Al-Qaeda in that region. E. National Debt Recovery: the huge national debt facing the country under the current economic situation predicts a very blare future for the next generation of Americans. F. Immigration Reform: in the fight against terrorism, controlling immigration or securing the ports of entry to USA is an important issue in order to keep Americans safe. However, efforts must be made in order not to make America unattractive for genuine and decent foreign investors and visitors. Which will in affect tourism and the GDP; Gross Domestic Product - due to low foreign investments in the economy.
Pros and Cons Of The Internet
For a principal fact one must understand what the internet as a whole is. This will allow any individual to be able to know the advantages and disadvantages of the internet to the society as a whole. From the Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary the internet is defined as “an electronic communications network that connects computer networks and organizational computer facilities around the world.” But in my point of view the internet is just a means to stay in contact with the world being it negative or positive. Communication started from the very huge telephones to the very huge mobile phones that were difficult to carry and not owned by the majority. Then it moved to the smaller and more sophisticated mobile phones which can be used in communication including having access to the internet. One of the greatest advantages in this case is that the internet can even be carried in the pocket. Personally when I am given an address to go to a place I don’t know I go straight to goggle the address on the internet and I am giving out the exact directions making life very convenient even in terms of movements. With websites like Face book and Twitter people from all over the world are able to get into contact with friends and family no matter what continent or part of the world they are. Not forgetting a website like Skype can actually make people see each other whiles communicating or chatting. Getting addicted to a website like Face book can be very dangerous to both individuals and the society as a whole. People at their work places can leave their work undone and rather “face book” their work time. Kids will sit in the bus and “Face book” the whole time and forget to get off at the right stop because they were concentrating on their addiction- Face book.
Emails are a very good way in communicating with people all over the world. But emails once sent can never be erased whether the message was good or bad. On the other hand instead of sending a letter through the post to each individual at a work place and risking the fact the letters can be lost emails are better options. On the whole the internet has its pros and cons depending on how it is used and what it is used for. In Africa there is a proverb that goes like “one man’s meat is another man’s poison”. So the internet can be very good for one person but to another it can be a massive destruction.

Constitution: Should Terms Of Menbers Be Limited?
No, the constitution must not be amended to limit the term of congressmen and senators for the reason. (1) It will compromise the experience that comes with the long period of being of congressman. For example, of Ted Kennedy, Allan Specter, John Kerry, and Joe Lieberman. These are experience senators and they always bring their experience to bear on national issues and on debate in the house. If the constitution is amended we cannot have such experience senators and congressmen. Because their term will have ended at the time that they are gathering experience.(2) The constitution itself gives the power to the electorate to vote out a non performing congressman or senator, so the vote of the electorate would determine how long a congressman or a senator stays at congress. Because they have this power, it does not make any sense to change the constitution to limit the terms of the congressman or the senator
The Future Of The Internet
I believe Internet is the only way to survive in the world we live in today especially, with everything being digitized. Most media outlets have to have a presence on the Internet in order to survive in today’s business environment.
The example that I would like to use is the newspaper media. From a small research that I did, I realized that newspapers are losing their advertisement to the Internet. A good example for me would be Real Estate. When house hunting it used to be you could go and pick up your Sunday paper and have every open house in the very city you bought that newspaper. This is still used but real estate agents have moved to the Internet to get more of a wide spread audience. They will post on Craigslist, yahoo, or eBay. The reason is because I can go to these websites and quickly pull up all open houses in any town I want, instead of having to go to the town and pick up a local newspaper.
Distributors of books, newspaper, or tabloids also have to have an Internet outlet or they will lose valuable views; example Barns and Noble, Amazon, and Boarders. I don't need to go into the corner, with the critical aspect of all books needing to be digitized or they simply won’t sell, it increases the availability of consumers to access all books from their homes.
Though all media needs to be digitized today, we always run into copyright and fair use issues. It is pretty easy for me to go to a website of a retail store, and take any image I want from that website and use it for my own use. I am sure we have all taken an image from a website to use in our life , and if you tell me you have not downloaded a song without paying for it you are just full of it. The effect is all outlets that use the Internet may lose money because of pirated songs, or not getting credit for photo that was taken or paid, but for the amount of money that is lost because of these issues the exposure and mass audience they all reach will let them profit more than they will lose.
